Pricing
Exactly what is charged for, and what never is
Which events cost money, which never do, in what currency, at what precision, and what happens when we charge for something we should not have. All of it is decided, and all of it is on this page.
Charge modes
You buy on CPM or on CPC. Conversions are tracked from day one and reported beside both.
| Mode | Charged per | Status |
|---|---|---|
| CPM | One thousand viewable impressions, to the MRC standard. | Available |
| CPC | Each click produced by a real user gesture. | Available |
| CPA | Each attributed conversion. | Measurement only |
Conversions are collected from day one through the postback and reported beside your spend, so you can read your own cost per acquisition. What we do not sell is a guaranteed CPA: at low volume a conversion-rate estimate is a guess, and we would rather not price your campaign on a guess.
What makes an event billable
All four conditions have to hold at once, and they are applied when the invoice is computed rather than when the event is written — which is what lets an invoice be recomputed and corrected.
- The event is an impression, a click or a conversion. No-fill and postback rows are measurement, never money.
- If it is an impression, it was viewable to the MRC standard. An impression nobody could see is not an impression anyone pays for.
- If it is a click, a real user gesture produced it. A synthesised DOM click is the cheapest fraud there is.
- It did not come from a datacenter address. A datacenter address is not a person.
What is never charged for
- An ad that was served but never became viewable. Serving is not an impression.
- A request that went unfilled. That is measurement, not money.
- The postback rows themselves, accepted or rejected.
- Any event originating from a datacenter address.
- A click that did not come from a real user gesture.
The viewability standard is the MRC one, and the tag's beacon produces it: at least 50% of the ad's pixels in view for one continuous second, in a foreground tab, on a page that has had a real user gesture, counted once per token and no more.
The rates
A price is quoted per campaign, and it is formed from figures you can see.
A placement's price is formed from two floors: the one the publisher sets for that placement, and a network-wide floor applied on top. The higher of the two wins, and neither of them changes because of who is buying.
There is no minimum deposit, no platform deposit fee and no minimum daily budget. A regional shop or an independent app can run a real campaign here without putting several hundred dollars up front.
Currency and precision
How money is represented, because rounding is where an invoice and a report start to disagree.
Currency
USD
All billing and all accounting are in US dollars. There is no multi-currency billing.
Precision
1e-6
Amounts are held as whole millionths of a dollar, never as decimals that drift. Your report and your invoice cannot disagree because of rounding.
Deposit fee
$ 0.00
We charge nothing to add balance.
There is no minimum deposit and no minimum campaign spend. If your budget is small, that is a reason to try here, not a reason for us to turn you away.
Invalid traffic and credits
Exactly what happens when something is charged that should not have been.
Invalid traffic is excluded from the invoice by the same rule that computes the amount charged, so the rate disclosed to you and the amount billed to you cannot disagree with each other.
A correction never rewrites an earlier entry. It is recorded as its own reversal, carrying the period it belongs to, so the history stays intact and the correction is auditable.
On your invoice that appears as its own line — invalid traffic credit, with the period named — rather than as a total that simply came out lower than expected.
The publisher side
The same payout figures the publisher page carries, because an advertiser is also entitled to know how what they pay is divided.
Withdrawal minimum
$ 20.00
Below this amount the balance stays in your account and rolls into the next payout. It is not lost and it does not expire.
Hold period
15 days
How long after an earning is recorded it becomes withdrawable.
For advertisers
Target on the real content of the page, pay only for viewable impressions, and read the invalid-traffic rate beside your spend.
For publishers
One tag, control over which ads appear on your pages, and per-placement and per-context detail in the report.
